The day belongs to them, and it unfolds at their pace. A hospital appointment in the morning. Lunch somewhere lovely afterwards. A visit with a brother or sister in the afternoon, and a quiet drive home in time for supper. One of our driver companions stays with your parent for every part of it: helping them from the door, carrying the bag, waiting through the appointment, sitting with them over lunch, and seeing them safely back inside at the end of the day.
Gentle days out, at their pace
A drive along Chapman's Peak with time to simply sit and look. Penguins at Boulders Beach from the boardwalk. Tea at the Mount Nelson or lunch in the Winelands. A church service, a market, an old neighbourhood they want to see once more.
We plan the day around energy and comfort: short walks, easy parking, no rushing, and always the same companion from start to finish.
Hospital appointments, handled with care
We collect your parent from home, arrive early, and stay for the whole visit. We help with wheelchairs and entrances, listen to what the doctor says if your parent would like an extra set of ears, pick up prescriptions on the way home, and call you afterwards to tell you how it went.
You can be at work knowing someone kind and reliable is by their side.
For the sons and daughters who cannot always be there
You would do it yourself if you could. Between work, children and everything else, some days you simply cannot. So we do what you would do: we fetch, we wait, we accompany, we report back.
Your parents are hosted, not transported. Every guest is met, escorted and returned to their own door, and every detail is confirmed with you before the day.
And for the busy household too
The same care, for every generation. School pickups and lifts to sport. Point to point transfers for your meetings while the children are at school. A safe, familiar driver the whole family can call, so the school run and the workday stop competing.
Senior companionship: what families ask
How does transport for the elderly work?
You tell us the day, the appointment and any needs, and we send a driver companion who stays with your parent from door to door, for the hospital visit, the lunch, the family visit or the full day out.
Can you wait during a hospital appointment?
Yes. Waiting is part of the service. We stay through consultations, help with wheelchair access and entrances, and can report back to you afterwards.
Is it a full day or a few hours?
Either. Some families book a two hour appointment run, others a full escorted day out. We quote per trip and per day, and we confirm the price in writing before you book.
Do you collect from retirement villages and care homes?
Yes, anywhere in Cape Town, the Winelands and the Helderberg, and we coordinate with the facility's reception so arrival and collection are seamless.
